Make eLearning Meaningful... and FUN!

Do your eLearners immediately look for the [Next] button on your eLearning courses and start click, click, clicking away until they have gone through each page to finish the course? After you have spent all that time and effort designing and building your eLearning course, naturally you would want your learners to take the time and digest all the content in the course. This presentation will give you some strategies, tips, and good practices for designing and developing a meaningful and engaging eLearning experience for your learners.

About your facilitator: Gerald Cabacungan

Upon graduating from the U.S. Military Academy with a BS in Individual Psychology, Gerald has held several leadership positions in various organizations, including the U.S. Army, Home Depot, Wayne Homes and Frito Lay, where he was also a Continuous Improvement Master Trainer and Regional Expert Trainer for the Great Lakes region.

Gerald earned a MA in Postsecondary Technical Education from the University of Akron and started at Cleveland Clinic in Revenue Cycle Training as an eLearning Instructional Designer. Gerald currently works as a member of the Learning Technologies team in the Mandel Global Leadership and Learning Institute (GLLI) at Cleveland Clinic, where he designs and develops eLearning, microlearning and virtual instructor-led learning solutions, as well as producing fun and educational training videos. Gerald currently resides in Medina with his wife and two wonderful children plus one other one (just kidding - they're all wonderful!). And a dog, Goose.

Who should attend? Trainers, Facilitators, Instructional Designers, eLearning Administrators, developers, and anyone interested in learning more about eLearning and applying it in their organization.
