Greater Cleveland ASTD is excited to announce the kick off to our 2013-2014 professional development program year!
Please join us on Tuesday, October 22nd, as we welcome fellow Greater Cleveland ASTD chapter member, Kathy Telban, as she facilitates the highly anticipated program, From ADDIE to SAM?

What are ADDIE & SAM?
ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implement and Evaluate) is the standard instructional systems design process developed in 1975 by the Center for Educational Technology at Florida State University for the U.S. Army.
SAM (Successive Approximation Method) is a new agile model for instructional product design and development. Dr. Michael Allen, CEO, and co-author Dr. Richard Sites, V.P. of Client Services, both of Allen Interactions, developed the model and described it in their book Leaving ADDIE for SAM. The authors presented the new SAM model at the 2013 ASTD Conference and quickly sold out sessions.
Join us while we explore the limitations of the ADDIE model and the introduction of a more effective and learner-focused solution that simplifies instructional design and development. Come learn, compare, and decide if you are going to leave ADDIE for SAM.
We look forward to seeing you on the 22nd!
Who should attend? Anyone interested in implementing a new instructional design model and exploring a move from ADDIE to SAM, including Organizational Development Specialists, Instructional Designers, Training Specialists, Training Managers, Learning & Development Specialists, HR Managers, Directors of Training/Learning & Development, and for those responsible for training and development at any level and in all types of business.
